A closed multi-segment shape, one click per corner.
The Polygon draws a closed outline from any number of straight segments. Use it where a rectangle
cannot follow the boundary: a pad with a clipped corner, an irregular pour.
Draw it: click once at each vertex, then press Enter. The outline closes back to where you
started.
Keys while placing
Enter: close the shape.
Backspace: remove the last point.
Escape: also finishes, with the points placed so far. It does not discard the shape.
Settings
Thickness: 0 to 20, default 1. Outline weight.
Colour: the outline.
Fill: a second colour channel on the same markup.
Opacity: applies to outline and fill together.
Editing afterwards
Select it, then:
Drag a vertex handle to move that corner.
Click the dimmed handle at an edge midpoint to insert a new vertex there.
Right-click a vertex handle to remove it.
Notes
A polygon always closes. If the area reads as zero, the shape was cancelled before it closed rather than left open.
