Revision clouds

Four cloud tools that scallop a shape's outline for a revision set.

A revision cloud rings an area that changed, with the scalloped outline the trade reads as "this is the change". There are four, one per shape, each drawn with exactly the gesture of the plain shape it is named after.

The four tools

Tool	Gesture
Cloud Rectangle	Drag one corner to the opposite corner.
Cloud Ellipse	Drag across the enclosing box.
Cloud Polygon	Click each corner, then Enter.
Cloud Freehand	Drag the outline in one stroke.

Picking one is a question of which outline follows the change. Nothing else differs: the scalloping is applied to whatever outline the gesture produced.

Settings

Thickness: 0 to 20, default 1. Outline weight.
Colour: the outline.
Fill: available, as on the plain shapes.
Curl Size: default 10, which is a 24-point curl radius, a third of an inch, with scallops repeating roughly every 40 points. A cloud has this instead of Opacity.

Notes

Curl Size is an absolute size on the sheet, not a fraction of the shape, so the same setting looks very different on a detail and on a whole plan view.
An edge too short to fit even one curl is drawn straight, which is why a small cloud can come out with flat sides. Drop the curl rather than growing the shape.
The opacity trade is deliberate: a cloud is an outline that has to stay legible against whatever it surrounds, so it gets the control that shapes its silhouette rather than one that fades it. For a faded shape, draw the plain shape and use its opacity.

Clouds in older projects

An early rectangle cloud, Cloud Rect, is retired and off the toolbar. Markups drawn with it still open, render and save, but are read back as the standard Cloud Rectangle, so nothing new is written in the old form. There is nothing to migrate and no setting to change.
